Brian Mast
Florida Congressman
Veteran
Brian Mast represents Florida’s 21st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, but his journey to public office is anything but typical. Before politics, he served for over a decade in the U.S. Army, where he worked in bomb disposal under the elite Joint Special Operations Command. During his deployment in Afghanistan, he was severely injured by an IED, losing both legs and a finger—but not his drive to serve.
After recovering, Brian continued working in national security roles and earned a degree from Harvard. He even volunteered with the Israel Defense Forces, showing his deep commitment to global freedom and security. In Congress, he’s known for his straight-talking style and focus on infrastructure, veterans’ issues, and foreign affairs.
He lives in Fort Pierce, Florida, with his wife, Brianna and their four kids: Magnum, Maverick, Madalyn, and Major. His story is one of grit, sacrifice, and a relentless belief in service beyond self.
